Heating & AC Service in Chicago

Thorough cleaning and servicing of my AC units.

I sent a photo of the problem ahead of time but when technician arrived he said he could not service the machine because of the drainage pipe. We eventually convinced him to provide the service because he said he was going to charge us and not do it. Afterwards, he didn't explain anything from the inspection. And the information I could understand like the outside temperature was not accurate. It said the temp was 96 but it was only in the 70s. I feel like I paid 85 for nothing.

Kris is great. He’s serviced our navien boiler a few times now and I appreciate that he shows up at 7:50am for an 8am appointment. I also recognize that preventative maintenance isn’t the most exciting part of the job. He still takes it seriously and it’s clear he genuinely cares about his work and our reliable access to hot water!

Wally was diagnosed the problem with our cooling unit promptly. He scheduled the next job promptly for the following morning which will be a great relief to our staff and clients.

TDH Mechanical overall was very satisfying to work with from setting up initial appointment to view the work to be completed, very competitive proposal quote, and the installation by Alfredo who ensured i knew from the beginning the work to be completed and the timeframe it would be completed. Very professional to work with. Additional item, I would occasionally hear back from the company as I was evaluating all the proposals which indicated to me that I was more than just another customer contact in a database. There were no surprises before, during or after and received the best labor/equipment/install price from this company; highly recommended?

They came right away on a busy weekend. The technician was very politey and knowledgeable, and the price was very reasonable. Will use them again for sure.

Everyone from Rolando, Mark and Tim were great to work with. Very responsive and consulted with me to give me options of how to service/replace the furnace. Would highly recommend them. My mother and sister have also hired them for work and had recommended them due to a positive experience.

TDH and Ken are fantastic. Ken came within five hours of my call and quickly diagnosed the situation and explained steps needed to remedy the situation. Turns out the furnace wasn't the issue - clogged drain pipe.

I was assured by Emily that I would be the first stop at 7:30. 9:30, no one. I asked Emily to call me, she never called. Ken arrived at 10. He found the problem with the wiring on the air conditioner. Since it was not the warrantied furnace, the charge was $210. Ken is an odd person. I will be more comfortable with another service person next time. I assume you are not posting this survey online.

We had Kris come out for a tuneup on our ac unit. He was on time and very friendly. He discovered something was wrong with the unit and immediately made plans to fix it. Appreciate his help and would highly recommend TDH!

TDH Mechanical sent someone out to examine our furnace not blowing cold air and quickly determined the cause was a faulty relay switch. I will use TDH Mechanical on all our servicing needs. WARNING: Be careful using other companies. Yesterday, a Sears Technician came out to examine our AC and said they're not allowed to use a ladder taller than 6ft, so could not even go on the roof. Wasted $99 on the service call. TDH Mechanical has no such restrictions. Don't make the same mistake.

Fantastic work

The TDH staff & technicians are all very experienced and knowledgeable. I appreciate the professional work done by the TDH representatives. They did an incredible job removing my old A/C from an extremely high roof top, and installing a complete new system including H2O heater, humidifier and even helped with an electronic Ecco Bee thermostat. They have continued servicing my system with the highest regard for maintenance.

Annual HVAC service by Rolando was great. Easy to work with. Gave me a courtesy call an hour out from arrival.
